Human rights
"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood," reads Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, proclaimed by the UN on December 10, 1948. A result of the atrocities of World War II, a lot of countries have the four basic principles of the declaration - freedom of speech and expression, freedom of worship, freedom from want and freedom from fear - embedded in their constitutions and all states formally accepted it. Yet human rights abuses are still occuring every day around the world. Speak out against them, make a programme!
